Traffic cam is another excuse to make money
From radio, they were discussing the installation of Traffic Camera on every busy street. From the announcement of local authority, it is mainly for the purpose of safety of our local residents, and public safe. But you can’t trust what politicians say. Behind their nice speech, there is might some other reason that they couldn’t tell you straight.
From a newspaper in Detroit, after the installation of Traffic cam, they can generate some million dollars of profit from tickets they issued. Which means that the local government reaping a huge profit from these so - called public safety camera. After this fact is published, other states follow suit. They did the same pattern to every busy streets. They mainly focus on cars that is from out of states, because the politicians afraid to angered their constituents in the local. Basically, these installation of traffic cam is for the purpose of making money from our hard - working citizens.
Other interesting facts that you might want to know. The installation of these traffic cams was provided by an Australian company, and the tickets issuing also from the same company. For every ticket issued, this Australian company taking $30, and the rest goes to the local government. What a shame.

That is a shame… you know, I went into this post thinking I might have to cite some driving fatality statistics or something, but you’re right. In this time of recession, the last thing we need to be doing is doling out 30 dollars to Australia everytime someone gets a ticket…
