Yesterday, my work place suddenly called everyone gather in the break room for “Town Hall Meeting”. We wasn’t aware the announcement, until my co - worker called me on the cell phone, and tell me to get to the break room. I was be able to make it there, and everybody was there waiting for the president’s speech. Certainly it was a bad news. Due to the economic crisis affecting the global economy recently, the company operations also affected. Many of its distributors weren’t able to sale these products to local vet clinic and hospitals. Also, the dollar value in global currency exchange is lower than before. The price for the local country in terms of their currency, it is higher, and the price would be higher in proportion too. Because all of these factors, some body was reluctantly let go. It was a horrific news to hear. I guess most employees of the moment was stunned by this news. Although they agree to pay the severance package. But it won’t help in long term.

Nowadays, many news regarding the closure of business is numerous, and many people was worrying about the current situation. The Christmas Holiday is approaching, and people was worrying whether or not they have food to put on the table for their families. This is really a horrific news to hear. We all hope that current situation will be turning, and people will be able to stay in their jobs, and others can find a new jobs to start earning again.
