Why people cheat after they are married?

Published by jzbrynn at 9:58 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I came across some rumors, either from a friend of friends, or from office co - workers. Somehow, most of these rumors in regarding the infidelity of couples, either a husband cheating his wife, a wife having an affair with someone else. These rumors were heard the most from people to people. Some of them might exaggerated, some of them might just be opinionated, or it might be a truth. When the rumor spread, it has some level of accuracy in it.

A month ago, I met a friend of mine in the mall, he told me that another friend of mine cheating his wife. I was surprised, because he just told me that his wife is 6 months pregnant. He should not be doing it while his wife is pregnant, that’s unfair to her and his future child. I ask him whether he is sure about this statement or he heard someone said it, it might be not be a truth. He once again assured me, the reason he cheated on her, because she is pregnant, and she won’t be able to perform her duty on bed for while. He frequently go out to seek “Pay sex”, and he has no remorse whatsoever. I couldn’t believe what I heard, but I guess most men are like that.

Another person I knew, who is older. He married for 20 years, but from time to time, he discussed about his former relationship with other girls, he ex - girlfriends, and many other trivial relationships he had when he was young. From his conversation, I deeply believe that he never love his wife once. For a couple who took the vow, they won’t do such things to each other. He also resorted to prostitution frequently.

From the examples above, I just don’t understand, why people get married, then they couldn’t keep their vow, their promise to their another half. It definitely won’t be fair to their spouse, but is it how our society emerge now? What is fidelity, what is love?
